Been forever

Hello All,
It has been far too long since I have actually done anything on DA, more the pity since I love this site. For those who are curious, I have been away for many reasons, one of those being I have had a child. He is now 11 weeks so I have a bit more time to go onto the computer. Alas, he does not give me much time to draw so we will see what happens with that. If anyone was trying to hunt me down for any reason, I do have a facebook and myspace that I check.

I spent a lot of time on it, I swear that in the end I hated every single inch of her hair!

Lol, I strive to get my hair to look like that but somehow it ends up failing, any tips?

Well the only advice I can give You is to be ver patient... That doesn't happen to flow out of the pencils in a rush, though I sometimes hope so!
Anyway, You might try dividing the hair in small locks - waves, curls, or just straight - and begin drawing lines (which should follow the shape You chose for the hair wisp) from the upper part until 1/3 of the lock, letting the signs fade a bit; then You do the same from the lower and it should look like mine :) At least, this is what I do!
